What military branch should I join?

I'm 16 and want to join the military, probably out of college. There are many different reasons I want to join, I am interested in becoming a pilot, which would make me think Navy (i'm 62 inches tall, not tall enough for air force pilot), but I don't like the idea of an 8 year enlistment, which they require for pilots and I like the idea of actually serving and doing something for the country in the war we're in, which makes me lean towards army or marines. I would even be willing to go to serve before going to college, so I would just be an enlisted instead of an officer and fight. But then again, I'm a girl and I don't know what positions I could hold. My dad was a marine and I like the idea of the elite, and identify with their mentality.
So it's between an 8 year Navy pilot, where I would get more travel and flight, or a marine where I would get to serve my country and challenge myself with the most difficult training there is.
What should I choose? any advise or inside knowledge?

well being a pilot is one of the hardest things to accomplish in the military but if you do become a pilot, maybe try a marine pilot. but the marines is a good option but there benefits arent as good as say the army's benfits and college money if thats what your interested in, also promotions come way faster in the army, you could join the army and do the split option program and go to basic your junior summer and have money for college or free college depending on your asvab score
but its your decision sorry for pushing the army on you hahaha

army has the most aircraft (mostly helicopters) so they have the most need for pilots
not sure what route would be best for you, I do know that to be a pilot you need to be a warrant officer |
