What should i expect for my husbands bmt graduation from air force, what should i give him for tech training?

I already know i'm buying him snacks for his weekend off, maybe bring a throw away camera for him to have or am mp3 player.
Also what should i expect? What do you wear, bring any special paper work? should i expect my husband to be less pda even thoug his letters suggest different?

When I graduated BMT, we left for Tech School the next day.
I wouldn't buy him a lot of stuff, simply because he will either have to take it with him or throw it away. Not to mention, if he is still in the barracks, he won't be able to eat the food in there.
For the graduation, wear something nice. A dress or nice pants are ok. You shouldn't need any special paperwork, just proof of who you are. Your husband will have to sign you into base, but other than that, you should be able to get on.
What to expect, expect to visit him on a limited basis until graduation. You can kiss him, but you can't make out. You can hug him, but not latch on to him. He will know what to do, just don't get upset if he kinda pushes you away. |

okay for the weekend... im assuming he is at lackland? that is where my hunny was at... anyways.. remeber he haas not eaten fast food or anything out of the dining facilities in 81/2 weeks he is going to want to eat out ALOT! so make sure you remember that and there are alot of things to do in san antonio so plan for an outing.. mall... river walk and such.. make your time wisley cause you have to have im back by 7 pm!
paper work.. he should send you a packet with a driving privledge thing and visitors pass FILL them out AHEAD of timE!!!!! or they will hold you at the gate...
what to wear: for the airman's run and coining ceremony jeans and a nice shirt with be fine... its outside and going to more then likey be HOT!!! so dress accordingly.. then the nest day for the parade.. it is supposed to be more formal.. so slacks cute dress... those kinds of things.. and its outside as well and bleachers... so make sure your shoes are comfty cause you are going to do some walking.
PDA: NONE!!!!! not while you are on base a hug is about all they will let you do and mayeb a short peck... at most.. but while on base no pda.. and when they leave base they have to wear blues so everyone knos who they are and it is not uncommon for retired AF to come up to you if they see you showing PDA off base.. so your best bet is unless you are at a hotel in your room or in the car.. be very easy with hand holding.. kissing and such...
This is a very big moment for him and remmeber to make the most of it i promise you will ALWAYS remmeber this day! and so will he!
