What type of jobs do you recomend for woman in the Army.?

As an actual female in the military, I would recommend doing something in the medical field. I would actually join the Air Force if I were you, don't settle for the army

Honestly you would have to browse through and make a list of jobs you like. Afterwards go in to your nearest recruiting office and discuss the options available to you.

Additional information:

Being an MP will probably be as close to Infantry a female soldier can get. I would not recommend it if you are afraid of going outside the wire, or doing alot of security tasks. My friend Sara was an MP but she was wounded in her last deployment and medically discharged from the Army.

When I went through basic in 2008, there were 30 females and 30 males in my unit. F 1-48 @ Ft. Leonard Wood, MO.

I'm sorry that I can't offer you a specific answer, but I just needed to comment that besides the obvious fact that women can do many of the jobs just as well as men (I shouldn't even have to say it), there are some functions in which a woman can perform better. I.e., in the public relations field- in cultures where only women can reach out to other women- female soldiers can make a real connection and positive impact with the resident civilians where male soldiers could not.

PS- I keep hearing over and over from people not to go MP; check out the Army Enlisted Forums for better input than you're getting here :)
