What units went into iraq first?

Not including special operations. Didnt the Armys 3rd division and marines 1st division go into iraq first? what other units also went in first. Also what did the airborne do?

The first troops into Iraq were helicopters from the 12th Aviation Brigade from Gielbelstadt Germany.

The first ground troops were 2-7 Infantry from 3rd ID (Fort Stewart, GA), "cottonballers" and a unit from the 1st Div Marines. Then the first unit to make it to Baghdad was 3-15 Infantry from 3rd ID where they overtook Sadaam's Al Faw Palace.

I am not sure what the Airborne did.

It was RCT-5 (Regimental Combat Team) which was the 5th Marines and support elements. On the 20th of March at 1730 Zulu time (9 and ½ hours BEFORE Saddam’s deadline for surrender) we crossed the line of departure and headed to secure the Southern GOSP (Gas Oil Separation Plants) of Rumaylah. Also to engage and prevent the reinforcement of the 51st Mechanized Division.
