When I was at Parris Island, all of us recruits had the same nicknames, the were, scum-bucket, turd, mommies boy, maggot, fat body, and a few others that I can't mention here.
However, all were near and dear to us.
Our Drill Instructors had nicknames too, they were SIR, YES SIR, NO SIR, PRIVATE DOESN'T KNOW SIR. |

In Navy bootcamp, I was known as ODB, Old Dirty Brayfield. I was the oldest person in my division, and I assume it was also because I had the filthiest mouth, at least I hope they weren't saying something about my personal hygiene. |
