Besides the radioactive fallout that will drift into nearby syria and jordan, the political fallout would be monumental. US would stike what's left of the Iranian state...with hair triggers on N.Korea, China and/or Russia, in case they decide to protect Iran.....not a pretty sight.

1- Iran will never use nuclear weapons against Israel.

2- Because they dont have them.

3- All the intelligence estimates say they are 5-10 years away from it.

4- It would be suicidal for Iranians to use it against Israel, because US would destroy a good portion of Iran.

Nuclear Winter, mass loss of life. If Iran actually tried to nuke Isreal, the United States would nuke Iran, and not only would the people of Isreal and Iran be mostly dead, but the winds would carry the nuclear devestation throughout the Middle East, into Southern Europe, Northern Africa and China.... probably not being too happy about this, China could retaliate, and then we're all screwed.

Israel has lots more nukes than Iran does so if one goes so will the other. Oil prices would sky rocket so let's hope it doesn't happen.

I am not sure that will happen, despite its threats to possible do so- but, if it should- there would be world catastrophe- as nuclear waste and residual last for years, and I think it would be safe to say- Good bye to Iran, As well.

What I worry about more is where they plan to use their weapons. Do you really think it's going to be Israel. A guy interviewed on the BBC who was in Iran said that if Iran got hold of such nuclear power it would bomb the world. I don't want to see that when it occurs.

I don't think Israel would let that happen since they themselves have nuclear weapons, but undoubtedly a massive war would result from either side destroying the other.
