Were their hooks too rusty to shoot their blunderbusses by the time they got there? The other night, I was flipping through the channels, and I saw Anderson Cooper yakking about the mighty pirates. The lead-in for the next night's show was: "somali Pirates, can they be stopped'? As if they are some kind of pirate supermen or something, instead of the imbeciles from Somalia that they are. Evidently Anderson, they can be stopped. Cold. |

And you think the residents of Mogadishu wants them or cared about them?. LISTEN, most of you are VERY NAIVE about the Somalia situation in general. The average Somali living in Somalia is SICK AND TIRED of the warlords, the militia men, the extremists, the pirates, and the so on. They kept innocent Somali residents hostage for 18 years, that is right, 18 YEARS. Not just 4 days hostage. Why would the residents of Mogadishu want them?
