The Marine would probably do nothing (I am in the Army) and one thing I know is unless the Marine is a stupid jarhead he would do nothing. Why you ask because he would think if I kick this guys A** I am gonna have to answer to the police and my chain of command. If the marine is a stupid jarhead or the guy just continually tries to fight him he might very well kick the guy A**. Either way people in the millitary are instructed on various weapons systems and martial arts aand most have been to the sand box and if I were a civllian i would not want to test someone in the armed services. |

Nothing that your average person could not do.
They are not trained fighters. They might receive a bit of h2h combat training, but a session here and their does f*** all.
Guys come to boxing gyms and it takes them a good 2-3months of flat out training (2hrs a day.. 4 days a week) for their skills to develop and you begin to say they are better then the bums on the street. Its after 6 months that you will confidently say that this fighter will comfortably knockout any bum he has to.. no dramas about it.
Marines do not receive this amount of h2h combat training. They are not supermen. Just like members of the Army, Navy Airforce are not supermen. Each would be about as good as useful as each other in a fight - which is f*** all (unless theyre the exception and have experiance as a boxer/kick fighter etc)
And a final note.. people who fight in the street are tools. No one respects you if you do. |

I can confidently say that the Marine would be able to control any hostile reactions he may have toward the offender, so that he could give all his Marine buddies the full scope to pummel the dumbass's face to the point that the fool would be wearing his nose on the other side of his face. Any Marine appreciates his buddies giving him the full scope to react to a friend's offender so that if any fool came to punch him in the nose, he could return that thoughtfulness to his Marine buddies who will unleash their fury onto the second fool's nose.
