if it was set off about 1 mile above Tehran the world might be a lot nicer place.
of course many iranian people would die that don't deserve too.
But then again --a lot of the ones that do deserve it would die so it might balance out.
Your question is very vague--it depends on the size of the NUKE.
The Russians were going to build a Hydrogen bomb inside a FREIGHTER and it would have been large enough on it's own to destroy the entire world -THEORITICALLY--back when they were called the USSR.
a Suit case size NUKE would take out about 5 city blocks.
NOT EXACTLY the end of the world--unless your living on one of those blocks. Of course many other blocks for miles down wind would be contaminated and uninhabitable for thousands of years --unless someone came in and decontaminated it--that would probably take a decade in itself. |
