I sure don't agree with that. Britain has been and is a great country. They have sided with us. We have always had each others back with the exceptions of the American Revolution and the War of 1812.
If I were the invader, I would hope they would invite me in to a pub for a beer and a game of darts. Then win or lose, shake hands, get on my boat (or plane) and come back home.
Don't let the size of a nation fool you. Its not the size of the dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog. The Battle of Britain showed exactly what the British are made of.

firstly USA and the UK are allies. however you must remember the last success-full invasion of the UK was in 1066.Also size doesn't matter,the British empire spanned across the globe it was said "the sun never set on the British empire"this at one stage included the so called mighty U.S.A.the only reason you got independence so soon is because we were busy fighting the french.
the UK is a constitutional monarchy and therefore is a democracy and does not need liberating.also we did have a revoulution and become a republic but it did not last because we love the queen any way Her majesty is still much bettter than your president.

The UK is the motherland, most of our laws, customs, etc..are based on them. The only way we would ever do it is to free it from some other country. I have worked with the Brits all the time and I would fight for them in a second! The only other countries I would do that for are Australia and Canada.

If the US were to invade the UK, I would be first in line to protest the action...I might even be moved to violence against my country's leaders.

However, I would look for people like Grey, who are misinformed and ignorant, and maybe eliminate them (don't try me...I earned my medals in battle) in order to improve the genetic stock in England.

Another nation one tried and failed to invade our 'tiny island' and they weren't thousands of miles away.

Not as daft a question as it sounds. When I was in the military, we speculated the possibility of Russia taking over Europe and the UK. If that happened, would the USA try to get a foothold back in the area by invading the UK.

On a lighter note, some would say they invaded us in 1942 and are still here.

OK, lets just suppose for one minute we where attacked by the mighty US of A. Yes we are just an island but am I wrong in thinking we would have the protection of the mighty European Nation behind us. Failing that we could all move to Ireland where we would be safe because half of America is Irish and so they wouldn't attack Ireland. Anyway it would be highly unlikely they would attack us, they can't afford another war.

I don't agree, It might be old fashioned but i like our queen, and i think the UK is fine the way it is. I'm proud to be BRITISH.
Anyway we have no worries if the US tried to invaid us, they would shot themselves down before they would even get to the UK.

im from america and im sorry to say this but i do not believe we would win against an invasion of Britain. 1. Britain armed forces are extremely good at what they do. 2. there air force has one the fastest planes in the world in agilty so our planes would no match against its speed 3. there specials force's are the best in the world 4. the whole of europe have there back it would never happen we are to good of an ally, we have had each other's back for a long time.but if it ever did happen i would have to be involved. but just remember britain controlled ALOT of the world at one point.

the uk is a very powerful country, look how far the empire streched around the world many years ago, and yet we still have some of these countries now. we have a well known history of fighting and battles, so its within our blood. the U.S soldiers ( even special forces ) are very skilled but are to trigger happy so in 500 bullets time theyve killed 10 of us and ours weve killed 50 of them. i was a soldier in iraq and seen the differences between the U.S and U.K and i am proud to be british. and also we dnt blow up our allies. lost some good friends with that. but at the end of the day the U.S needs us and we need them, otherwise we get commy fookers from russia(ussr) shhhhhh! trying to think the can act hard.
