Since I am not military or government I would look to internet and TV for reports on what needed to be done and then do what needs to be done. Also I would locate weapons and arm myself.

A very pertinent question but both the answerers do not seem to be American. If I were an American (or for that matter the citizen of any country in the world including India which is my country and which is a friend of Russia. We did fight China even if we were te first to fight for its membership of UNO and even if we had sent medical missions to China during the internal struggle with the Kuomitang and was our friend,when it attacked us In fact we ,in India ,have a tradition not to reject any request for hostilitieis from anybody,even a friend or even a total stranger. A guest is welcome even if he comes with open sword or else we would be guilty of sullying the tradition of hospitality. Irrespective of the outcome of the 'friendly exchange' the guest would always be our honoured guest)which is under attack .

Consequently you question would only have one answer for me.

The only occasion when as an American I may not do so is if I was not there.Do you remember the famous Hollywood Production 'And the Mouse roared' in which the Reds attacked America with full force but found the American cities empty. Feeling that the Americans had fled before their oncomg attached they roared and hollered thre cries of victory.

The fact was that the attach came on a Sunday when ,as you know,entire America is away on picnics.

So please don't postulate these attacks during holidays which are round the corner. Please!

IF it did happen ( very unlikly allthough they have claimed the artic as there land just the other day... when its Canadas territory (and the tape they used to show that they claimed it was a shot from a titanic movie, and the cuban missle crisis kinda stoped the arms race and so on and America stoped that i wouldent go to canada cause the last time Russia and the Americans were in a Cold War they put up a defence that if an unknown missle or anything were to fly a certian way it would blow up over canada( only a small amount of canada is protected by the system) i would probably wouldent worry about if i lived in the USA... plus you wouldent be able to survive a nuclear war ( most likly the way it would be done) within the 7 min warning u had i would just lay back an relax... if i am gonna die im gonna die.... ( wow i did listen in Social studies class this year... this should be a diplomia exam SA question lol....) i live in Canada... so i would actually try and go to the USA somewhere safe... not Alaska cause that would be stupid if there was an invasion and prob not flordia ( who i love ) cause thats to close to Cuba and Cuba and the russia and good friends umm prob. i would just pray and hope there is after life... maybe ill meet Stalin there.
