isnt it that if you have a tattoo bigger than your hand you have to get it waivered or something? and if so what does that mean?
and also is there a certain number of tattoos you are allowed to get?

Any tattoo on your head or neck is immediately disqualifying. Aside from that the limit is 4 tattoos. Any more than that goes through a "tattoo determination review". Same goes for any tattoo any bigger than your hand. This is not immediately disqualifying. This just means that they have to review for content. The question that they must ask is whether the number, size and content is detracting from the appearance of the uniform. Tattoos that are visible on arms fall under even more scrutiny as they will be readily seen by everyone when you are in uniform |

as long as it can be covered by a t-shirt and it isn't offensive to anyone you should be fine.
ie. no confederate flags, swastikas, or gang related tattoos this also includes swear words |

This is the same for all Military branches. You can not have any tattoos that are logos anywhere on your body. You cannot have ANY tattoos on your neck or higher (face/head area), this is specified as starting at the shoulder.
