When a national guard member trains with their squad on weekend an month?

Do they sleep at the base the whole weekend and then go home on monday?
or do you go home on the weekend and just go back in the morning?

There are Home Station drills where you train at your armory on mandatory admin crap or low level individual tasks and on those you usually sleep at home. If you go to a training area (most of the time) you stay there overnight(s) with your unit. Unless its on the training plan to work Monday, you'll be off Sunday evening at some point.

Depends on the unit, where you are living at, and where your station is located. Not to mention your MOS can also effect that sometimes. Also there can be specific events that National Guards men may have to attend. A sound example of this would be an FTX event. FTX = Field trianing exercise.
