When do they drug test you in Army Boot Camp? I arrive 4/1/08. I smoked weed 3/5/08. PLEASE HELP!?

As far as I'm aware, it is difficult to predict how long it will stay in your system. I know it is detectable in the proteins in your hair and grows out with it, but you'll have that cut anyway.

Politeness aside - "Too old for childish remarks" but clearly not too old to learn how to spell the world 'childish' though.

You say you are too old for childish remarks so I will not make any but the military is no place for a person that can not keep from using drugs. They will sooner or later catch you and when they do its a general discharge and then your civilian life will be in the toilet as well. You need to stay clear of drugs if you are in the military.

They do random drug testing whenever they want to so you just never know. Usually before you ship off they get you at MEPS.

Often and expertly. I would not want a drugged person next to me in a military situation. You can endanger yourself but you have no right to endanger others. Perhaps you have made the wrong choice. Be up front and you may get help.

They do it at MEPS not basic. During your physical.

I seem to recall that the Navy tested me early in my first week of boot camp. Maybe not the first day, but close. You might want to start running a few miles every day until you leave to try to flush that s**t out of your system.

I also recall that they didn't tell the guys who popped on the first test until much later in boot camp, so you might get a big surprise before you finish.

I'll bet you really regret wrapping your lips around that fattie, huh?

Drink plenty of water my boy & excersize. Stay away from starchy foods; if your skinny you should be straight. If your healthy you might want to delay shipping off! roll tide!

Dude. Don't smoke while you're in the military. I really hope you won't....So I'll advise you to run, drink tons of water, and maybe take some Niacin to flush your system. That can be found in the pharmacy section at wal-mart. Beware it will give you hot flashes.

You take your test at MEPS right before you go and I don't remember but after you get there too. Good luck man. Hope everything works for you. If you get in . They random at you command. and most of the time they don't test every single person they do so. I wish there is something you can do but... Just good luck.

Hard labor is no fun. You get your piss test in reception station the first or second day. You will probably do some stockade time at hard labor, then got to BCT. I doubt you will just be discharged as we are at war.

You will be given the chance to speak with a JAG lawyer. Definitely do that. He / She will be knowledgeable in the current command climate towards these types of offenses. Make up your own mind.

If you have already been to MEPS then you are o.k. I did not get tested in basic.
