When do you think were leaving Iraq?

I dont think we will ever leave.They have built all those bases and other things.We are still in Germany,still in Korea and we will still be in Iraq when all is said and done.

Its not ending tomorrow I can tell you that, and it will probably last for some even past 2008. It all depends on how well we can get the Iraqi forces trained, and the sectarian violence down.

As we have sadly learned in the past, if the people in a country are not willing to stand up and fight for their own rights and freedom, all of the humanitarian and military aid we can muster will be in vane.

The first election was a very positive indicator - the present war between the different factions within the country is a very negative indicator.
It seems at times that the people's devotion to their own sects far outweigh any patriotism they have for their country as a whole, and that's sad.

World War II was how many years ago and we still have troops in Germany. NATO is still in Bosnia and Kosovo. So heck, no one can really say.
