When will the Army start taking care of the real Soldiers, or start making real Soldiers out of the shammers?

When will the Army start taking care of the real Soldiers, or start making real Soldiers out of the shammers?

Does the Army need non-deployable soldiers? If a Soldier was wounded in combat it's one thing but to be non-deployable due to some chronic aliment. ie shin splints, runners knee, bronchitis? I saw a list the other day of Senior NCOs that are non-deployable. It is huge and very few are combat related injuries. Mostly stuff that kept them from deploying the entire time they are in the Army.

Will it ever change?

j money = been deployed 3 times. U? Oh wait, let me guess, you are trying to get in the Ft Lee, good ole boys club. lol combat logistics.

I see Senior NCO's in the Marine corp that have deployed up to 8 times and more within Infantry and other fields. So don't sit there and say that Senior NCO are part of the Good Ole Boy clubs (I saw your last post).....the NCO's I have experienced have been the hardest, toughest most well experienced men who run the Corp. I have rarely met Marines that were continuously non-deployable. I don't know what your MOS is, but in Infantry, there is no such thing as continuous nondeployable. I know there is some Good Ole Boys, but I have not experianced it to the extent that you have.

it depends on how and when they became non- deployable. I can only speak for the British Army so here goes.

They would not be allowed to join up if unfit for combat.
If they became unfit while in the army, they would be allowed to stay in until they became fit again.

But things may have changed because it is very difficult these days to get people to join up.
( Billy the Chav may think he is a hard case out on the street, but ask him to go to war and you`ll soon see what a coward he really is)

Support the troops coz our Politicians won`t

When we mobilized (Reserve unit) through FT Bragg, we were "greeted" by a leg CSM with no combat patch. He was a mobilized Reservist with CAPOC. Out of 68 in our BN about 1/3 of our unit (1/2 of the officers) was coming from jump units and we were receiving jump pay. Many of the Soldiers had previously deployed and some were on their 4th deployment. A number of Soldiers had been active duty with the 82nd.

This non-deploying leg CSM ripped us apart with "now you are at FT Bragg. We have standards. I don't care what your unit did this is the home of the Airborne. ect." The worst part was that after our deployment the same CSM gave us our "welcome home" speech. "You are demobilizing. There will be no drinking. General Order No. 1 still applies." What a worthless representative of the NCO Corps.

You will always have some that find a way out of deployments. You can't catch 100%, but hopefully leaders get close.

Non-deployable? I never even knew that existed. If you aren't healthy enough to deploy, then you shouldn't be allowed to enter the military at all.

j money
well it looks like they are doing a good job because you still have the freedom to post stupid sh!t like this
