He's dead and buried. The man wasn't healthy, he suffered kidney failure a few years ago. How on earth is a man supposed to get the relevant medical treatment he would have needed to a dirty cave is anyones guess. Kidney dialysis needs highly sterile conditions, otherwise the patient will die from a disease or infection, just like the french report said.

the old king of afghanistan is exiled in italy, he might be there, one of the reasons they cant find him is because he dosent use electricity to comunicate, once electricity is used then theres a good chance of being spied on or located.
