My uncle spent 4 years in the marines, then he switched over to the army as a 11b Infantryman. He said marine boot camp was a Little bit more about discipline, but real weapons training is held at Fort Benning ~Home of the Infantry~ He wasn't 0300 series Infantryman for the corps, but every marine receives combat training at the end of boot camp. He said Army Fort Benning ~Home of the Infantry~ is where real weapons training is held, maybe if he would have went Infantry in the corps it be different, i dunno. His exact words were : Real combat weapons training is held at Fort Benning ~Home of the Infantry~

No they receive Basic combat training at the end of boot camp and basic combat training is just that basic, it is nowhere as intense or sophisticated as Infantry combat training, and both the Army and Marine Corps Have special schools for Combat Infantry soldiers Fort Benning Is the Top Rated Infantry Training Facilities, it has more resources and state of the art training Ranges and advanced weapons facilities then any other place on earth they also have the the largest

Marines do attened many Army advanced Schools that would otherwise not be available in the Marine Corps Marine Tankers also attened schools at Fort Knox. |

a POG Marine is not an infantryman, therefore if he went into the infantry in the army he would have gotten more and better infantry training there as opposed to MCT which is basically a joke
a Marine grunt would got to SOI (school of infantry) either at Lejune or Pendleton and would NEVER go to Benning seeing as Benning is an army post and home of the army infantry |
