My boyfriend wants to join the Marines when he turns 18. Its been his dream. Any better suggesting?

The Best suggestion is to let him follow his dream!! If you really care about him, you will be supportive and encourage him in following his hopes and dreams for the future! You will both only be disappointed if you try to tell him what to do!
The Marines are a part of the Department of the Navy, but are a separate military "branch" -- There is the Army ("soldiers"), Navy ("sailors), Air Force ("airmen") and Marines ("Marines"), as well as the Coast Guard (which actually falls under the Department of Homeland Security, but is in a unique non-Department of Defense, uniformed service.

well your question is answered in your question lol. The Army is the best branch. Although i wanted to be a marine myself im going to jon the army instead. People think that the marines is so cool just becasuse they play alot of call of dute and games like that but really the army does just as much as the marines. The thing that seperates the 2 branches is that the marines is a family and the army is a team. plus the basic training/bootcamp is different. |

The term "best" does not exist in the armed forces. All the branches, Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps, take on different missions. |
