The Marine Corps is part of the US Navy, and you often see Navy Corpman attached to Marine Corps Combat Units.

Im ex marine,and we had navy corp medicas with us in all the combat action i was in.They were trained in navy hospitals.They are trained as nurses and can go on to be same as RN'S.The rank test advances them.The USAF promtes only
if a person will reinlist.Navy has hospitals onboard
there ships.Top dutys being on a navy hospital
ship.
IF your daughter is eger to learn,she may get a chance to go the officers school,
I don't know much about army medics,but do know at this time t he army is paying $ 20.000
To get people to enlist for boot camp.and $10.000 when you finish the training school you
have chosen.
I guess it's a hard thing to make up y our mind.
keep in mind that what ever the recruter telles you,
that he isen't bound to tell you the truth/

I'll be honest: getting into HM (Navy) as a female is gonna be tough. Most of the slots needed are for Men to Go Greenside and work on Marines in the FMF. Actually as a female her options would be limited in all branches. the current need is for combat medics. She can't do that.

ALL the Branches offer comparable training . However, if she isn't motivated, she will do poorly wherever she ends up. the Military is NOT for slackers.

If her grades are good enough to get her into med school, the military will pay her tuition and a stipend as a scholarship. She would be a 2nd lt. during school and a captain when she graduates.

marines-don't try the army-greater percentage of you ending up getting shot when you were doning nothing wrong...friendly fire...

I have to say the USAF only because I am enlisted. USAF has great educational benefits, once you are in they will pay 100% tuition to go to school while serving all you have to do is pay for books, plus you get the G.I. Bill which can give you up around $40,000 for college after your out or while your still in. You can also attend the Community College of the Air Force(CCAF) and recieve an associate's degree quite easily, most credits from the CCAF can be transferred to big name schools also so that helps you in the future. In my opinion the Air Force is the best way to go!
