Imo, the British Marines. They are actually in fact commandos. But, either way, nobody would want to mess with either one of them.

On a serious note. Yes Royal Marine boot camp is 32 weeks and US. Marine boot camp is only 13 weeks but keep in mind that the Royal Marines do their job specific training a at boot camp then they go directly to their unit.
Where as US. Marine infantry will spend 13 weeks at boot camp then go to the School of Infantry with is 59 days long. so lets do some math 13 weeks of boot camp + 8 weeks of SOI = 21 weeks of " training"
Plus keep in mind that The Royal Marines have the week ends off during their training where the US Marines do not.
So lets do some more math 32 weeks = 224 days
224 days - 64 days off= 159 days of training for the Royal Marine
Now for the US Marines 13 weeks equals 91 days of boot camp + 59 days of SOI = 150 days of training.

So in conclusion the Royal Marines receive 159 days of training compared to the 150 days of training that the US Marines get

So congratulations the Royal Marines are trained for 9 extra days

Gotta have More Explosions! is right. Although they are both called Marines, their missions and objective are different. I respect the British Royal Marines, especially their training. However what you are saying that just because someone went to basic training longer in the the military than someone else automatically makes them better than those who did not attend basic/boot camp as long. There are additional training outside of basic training and boot camp. Obviously if you have been in any military or know about how the military trains, you would know this. I'm not going to say who's better because most of their missions are different. If you truly know about these two units and what their missions are, you wouldn't use fallacies and name calling to back your claim.

Yes,verygood question. I have by the precious holy spirit thank you allmighty god through the son is three they are one. I can tell the truth and it is very simple they each serve one to the other and create unity amongst each other. easy huh. Well it is easy, why? WE is the separation and sweet death of the me. Lavadog thinks the British Royal Marines took their name and idea from the US Marines. He evidently doesn't know the Royal Marines predates the US Marines by about 111 years.

Both organizations developed along totally different lines - the US Marines are their own large branch with multiple capabilities, while the Royal Marines are a significantly smaller organization of elite commandos.

Apples and oranges indeed. Or perhaps watermelons and lemons. Although the Royal Marines don't operate a lot of the things US Marines have (ie, tanks, helicopters, fighter planes), man for man the 13 week USMC bootcamp pales in comparison to the 32 week Commando recruit course.
