1. Basic training is hardest in the Marines. But if you continue your career you will find schools (e.g. special ops) that are overall equal in how hard they are to complete.
2. Probably AF or Navy, but there are jobs in any of the branches that require lots of brains.
3. Whatever fits your personality/ skills best. Complete opinion and preference.
4. Supposedly Marines because of the camaraderie but.. if you want to be a sailor then you'd feel good about being one, it really isn't limited.
To all those people who judge a branch based on it's special ops part: that's ludicrous. You can't judge a military branch based off of a few thousand guys.
Yes Army has it's Delta, Navy it's SEALs/DEVGRU, Marines their MarSOC/Recon but that's a very small part of it and that's the way it's supposed to be. Just because somebody has a "better" special operations force within their branch doesn't mean that entire branch is better and sure doesn't mean that they are in a more dangerous position. |

Well this is a tough question because all of the branches are very different and at the same time similar. My opinion for all four questions is The Marines. They are the best of the best( unless you include NAVY S.E.A.L.S. and Delta, they are the best of the best). If you are only looking in general at Army, NAVY and Air force. The Army is the most demanding physically. The Air force is the most demanding mentally. The best to join is either the Navy or the army. They have the most opportunities to succeed and advance in rank. The air force feels the best to complete training because by the end you'll be able to fly a fighter jet and withstand high altitude flight which is very difficult. You really cant go wrong with any branch, Hope This Helped! |
