Job description very similar, however that's only part of the job. The USAF living conditions are much better than the Army's.
I have spent many years in the Army E-7, and spent some time at USAF bases, I will take the USAF lifestyle any day. Promotions in the USAF will be much slower. |

They are basically identical. The Air Force has better living conditions for their members however...hands down. |

Don't listen to Ron T, he has been going around preaching that Obama crap all day. Since they are both primarily the same job, go for Air Force. Air Force is overall better then the Army. Better living, better pay, and you work with Professional. Not undermining the Army, but some people use the Army as there last resort. Also, the Air Force Security Forces are tasked with protecting Air Force Bases. Some AF bases are in some real exotic places. |

If you want to be a COP join the Air Force or Navy.
If you want to deploy and escort convoys, train local national police, and guard prisoners. Then occasionally do law enforcement when you are back at home station. Join the Army.
