what the terrorists dont understand is that they are losing face. For every rocket fired into any of the above town, israel will retailiate with ten times the force--and they will continue to do so until they feel they dont need to.
Terrorists, on the other hand, only stand to lose face. They only exist with:
a) outside funding or support and
b) support or shelter of the populace.
See, what terrorists dont get, is that people just want to BE. They want to live out their lives... sleep, go to work, earn, eat, get nice things for their family. And when they get dragged into an ongoing conflict, they are going to start to stop supporting the terrorists they shelter or support. They know Israel will not stop until they are destroyed or the Hizbollah backs down.
Israel has the support of the US and is quite capable militarily. Hizbollah has financial support but no infrastructure to really speak of. Its just a matter of time... |
