The Cost guard has the best law enforcement agency, plus its federal. You should go active duty for at least two years for your military training and experience to be substantial to any law enforcement agency |

I'm planning on doing the same thing...be a cop after the Army. I was going to do MP, but I .wasnt able to; so I did Infantry. All the stuff you'll deal with in Infantry will actually be better than doing MP. Not saying MP is not a bad way to go, but MP's really just set up speed traps on base, arrest people ect...but with Infantry you'll deal with hostage situations, maybe hand-to-hand combat, you'll learn how to deal with different atophsere quick, rading houses, trained in more guns, learn good communications skills ect...think about it. Do what you want, and dont let others talk you out of doing infantry. Plus you'll be way more hard core than most others besides the rangers or something. |
