Presently, dollar, which is pegged by the floating currency norm is the most powerful weapon in the world. Though it is being increasingly challanged by Euro, it still is retaining its stature. It is this dollar, which is allowing USA, the reckless and mindboggling expenditure, based on law defying deficit financing, on defence, and other lopsided universal policies. It would be my suggestion, if any US person of any significant value is reading this, that there is one more weapon, much more powerful than dollar, and it is democracy, which the americans should try to implement. But caution must be exercised, not to enforce the American democracy, but rather a democracy which has universal appeal, which engages all nations as partners in the human developmental process, and not as core and peripherial nations.USA should use the strength of its dollar, to a constructive role, atleast for the sake of humanity.

The strongest and most dangerous weapon known to man is a US Army or USMC 2LT on his first day of platoon leader duty with a line company.

Compare the odds of anyone triggering a nuke against the odds of a guy fresh out of college and OCSm with zero military experience, put in charge of 40+ men, armed to the teeth, with at least a third of the platoon with combat experience.

The US fought Vietnam war with all its might and the weapons deadlier than ever employed elsewhere in the world, but still they were shown their bloody nose, by the courageous Vietnamese army, which fought relentlessly. Nuclear bombs are indeed the deadliest. With its proliferation, no body can dare to threaten another nation for using it, for it will be counter productive. Both the nations intending to use nuclear weapons are equally under the danger of total annihilation.
