We can't, any more than can prevent some American soldiers from commiting rape. During Desert Storm an attitude from a lot of service women was: "if you're a woman, and you get captured by the enemy, you're going to get raped, doesn't matter which side." There were also cases in that conflict of American servicewomen being raped by American servicemen. It was covered up, but it still happened. What I really object to, asside from people just calling me names and screaming it never happened, is people who try and justify it by saying that there weren't all that many cases. I tell you people, one is too many, but it's never going to stop. Once you're convinced the other side aren't human, that killing them is no different from killing a rat, how can you be expected to accord them human rights in other areas? Sherman put it perfectly, "war is hell". |

I didn't know US soldiers were being raped. By who? Female soldiers who are raped while on active duty bring charges against the one who did it and the military investigates and brings a verdict. |
