The United States Military is the most well funded, best trained, best equipped, highest morale, most capable, and fast reacting military force in the world. Israel and Britain are about equal behind the US. Everyone else is a distant third.

Israel has a very good army, but it is trained and equiped to fight in Israel, this means they can do that very well, but would suffer if they had to fight in a different region.

The United States army is very large and the best equiped but they do not have the most diciplined soldiers.

The british army is small compared to others,but a lot of money is spent to equiped and train it, british soldiers are the most trained, most skilled professional soldiers with the highest morale and tolerance. it is the most combat experienced army in the world, having particpated in more wars than all other armys put together.fact. this is seen in the tactics used and the results gained. to sum up, the british army hasn't lost a major conflict in its 500 year history and it was the backbone of the largest empire ever seen.

structure, better morale, Better Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers and Enlisted Personnel!!

The United States Army hands down. No other nation in the world has an army that can project power anywhere in the world on such a scale.

The British Army can project power almost anywhere in the world also, but it cannot do it on the scale of the United States Army.

Beyond the Americans and British, nobody can project power in a meaningful way on a global scale.

In terms of sheer size and power/funding/technology etc I would say the US army.

In terms of training and skill etc, I would say the British SAS would be the best.

Obviously people will have many different opinions, most bias ones.. but each to there own.

My vote goes to the Salvation Army.

Those folks are the most dedicated and motivated people you will ever meet, and absolutely fearless about heading into any kind of disaster to help out, even before the smoke clears.

The weapons china is making today the USA had 50yrs ago- If WWIII ever breaks out you can bet the Americans will have weapons the likes that have never been seen- Far Far Far ahead in terms of technology. Heck we even invented the internet-the car, electricity and so on!!!
