It would be tough to invade the US. Not only would the invaders have to face our military and police (all of which are well armed) they would have to worry about half of our citizens which are armed as well. For all the hippies without guns, they would be out of luck lol. |

The US is responsible for 54% of all military expenditures worldwide and we have the industrial capacity to triple it overnight.
We have production ready war machinery that is more advanced than anything our potential foes have, the Navy and the Army don't even want them becaus the threats we face are insufficient. (Example: F22 Raptor)
Need I mention 36 Armed federal agencies, countless armed state and local agencies and 175 million armed American citizens?

Probably Russia or Korea. Korea recently said that they will keep on creating nuclear weapons and they have expanded their uranium mines. They said that they don't care what the US thinks and that they will keep on doing what their doing. I believe that the country that said that is Korea. If I'm wrong, someone correct me. |

If it were to happen, it would be a joint effort of more than one country. The attacks would not come from one side of the country but from all sides, including terror attacks and aerial assaults.
It would take a strong coalition of forces to succeed in this endeavor, considering the arms build up from within. There are three hundred million weapons floating around the US, which is one for every man, woman, and child. This alone would be a strong deterrent for any country, unless the current CIC has another brain fart, and decides to try and disarm this built in militia. |

As of right now, America and some of the South American countries are not diplomatically stable. Therefore, they're the HIGHEST threat. Other then that, It would be Iran who would try it. Iran has a very good military, and isn't afraid of many things. Therefore, they're second to attack. |
