Actually in that list of countries, China would be on NATOs side. They Chinese hate the Russians and see them as one of their 3 biggest threats (more so then the US). China allied with the west against the USSR in the 1970's.
Overall, the West would win if it doesn't go nuclear. China would be contained once their Navy was destroyed.
Russia is falling apart as is and is nowhere near as strong as they were as the USSR, not to mention a good portion of the former USSR is allied with NATO. Russia could not sustain a long war.
If the West tried to go into China itself, it would have problems in that theater, but if they just focused on containing them, China would be stuck and powerless (aside from nuclear). |

I think that we would be stuck in a stalemate for years and eventually one of us owuld launch a nuke and the domino effect would occur creatin nuclear winter.

The number one reason....Russia's power is fake. It never was real. Watch the old youtube videos of those parades through Moscow. The ICBMs are swaying in the wind. They where made out of wood. Russia is all smoke and mirrors and we have always known it. That's why Reagan used to call them out on it all the time. If he was worried they would strike he wouldn't have Talk so much s**t to them.
China has a huge military. Their strike capabilities are far reaching. The only problem is they are stagnate. They haven't done much in the way of maneuvers in years. They would be rusty.
The US strike capability for a full out war is unparalleled. Especially in the Navy. We have 13 Carriers with 80 strike aircraft. Capable of controlling the skies over any country in a few days. If you take off the US military's muzzle it'll bite the hell out of you. |

NATO America. But I got something to reply towards Devin's post. The Chinese may not have trained lately but between training and overwhelming force, overwhelming force has the upper hand. With the number of people in their military, and the number of people that the communist regime would indefinitely conscript, we'd be overwhelmed. But, on the other hand, a well placed nuke destroys them. So its numbers beat training, and nukes beat numbers, nothing beats nukes. |
