At the risk of sterotyping, I must say George Washington. This man was an island in terms of drive, motivation, determination, and tenacity. He led by example, which was the only way he could have gotten the job done. He stayed focused and showed his men the courage and leadership necessary to beat the British ! |

the late Maj. Richard Meadows. read the story at the following link. his son was my platoon leader in korea. i also heard stories of some of his "events" in vietnam. the guy is one of those that is legendary but not to the general public. you won't find his stuff in history books but he made a lot of history occur.
