I wonder many times, why the BIG BULLY doesn't choose anyone ITS size!?! Why does it go after small Asian countries every time...only to fall flat on its face!?! Little do Americans know of Asians...their true mettle and dedication. If they did, they would stay away and concentrate on putting their own house in order!

Sorry to sound like that...but as an Asian I truly feel that way...

Yes everybody is scared! They're one of the most, if not the most strongest military in the world! And I mean no disrespect to China, but we all saw that in the Beijing Olympics, didn't we?

The PNAC, the Project for a New America, had an agenda for the US to take over the entire Middle East. Before we invaded Iraq, Republicans and neoconservatives were saying Iraq was just the first step, it would be followed by Syria and Iran. Not -some- Republicans, it was clearly their basic agenda.

Iraq turned out to be a tougher nut to crack than Bush expected. He should have listened to his generals, his military experts including his (at the time) secretary of state, rather than a cadre of naive idealistic chicken-hawks at the PNAC.

In any case, I think you're right about Iraq being 'small and available'. Bush expected a quick, easy victory in Iraq that would net him tons of 'political capital'. This was obviously in his mind that day when he landed on the aircraft carrier and strutted around in a Navy flight suit. That's one reason he didn't go after Iran first, and China would certainly have been out of the question. If we can't knock over a little 4th-rate country like Iraq, how are we going to go after the biggest country in the world?

They is nothing we can gain from attacking China.We need its market.With 1.2 b people we need that key market.China should not be viewed as a threat but a country that west can gain alot from like cheap labor ,and market for finished goods

My cousin is in China as an interrogator. So actually we have troops in China. If they misbehave more troops will be deployed there.

You failed to realize that by invading Iraq, it serves dual purposes.
1. steal their oil
2. a base to invade Iran next
3. Saudi Arabia + Kuwait + Iraq + Iran = most of the world's oil = the U.S. will be able to cut oil supply off to China any time. Sure China still have other sources of oil, but at least half comes from Middle East. China will lose the war without the U.S. sending troops at all...just sit and wait.
