Europeans are evil. They started God knows how many wars, they started, supported, and condone Nazism (especially France), the Holocaust (especially France), the slave trade, Communism (half of Europe), facist Spain, etc....

Secondly, Europeans are just jealous of Americans because we have a better, and thirdly, everytime a European is in the presence of an American, he should bow because--truth be told--if it wasn't for us, you all would be speaking German still.

Ultimately it isn't so much the governments, but the MEDIA, and American media is hardly unique in brainwashing their citizens. That exists worldwide. But you CAN do something about it.

Read publications from other countries (If you speak more than one language, this could be quite helpful), and with the internet, this is now more possible than every before. Compare the information between the two, and then MAKE UP YOUR OWN MIND.

Why Iraq? Well, there *is* the little issue of them violating the treaties, cease-fire and no-fly zones with America after the Gulf War.

Of course we don't think everyone is evil. If we did, we'd probably be a hell of a lot better off - we could keep all the money we send overseas right here and support Americans.

Plenty of americans are not in support of the war, plenty do think for themselves, and plenty do care about non-American civillians. You can't stereotype a who nation like that. Yes, there are some Americans who would attack europe, but there are idiots in every country. You can't judge an entire country by them.

First, in case you haven't been paying attention, nobody said that the attack on Iraq was because of 9/11.

And while, yes, thousands of Iraqis are dying, most of them are dying at the hands of the Sunnis (Saddam's supporters), and it is the Americans who are trying to prevent all this death.

But I suppose that based on your ill-informed diatribe, that you don't really care about the non-Sunni Iraqis, who also suffered greatly under Saddam, you only want to vent your spleen against America.

I am a 62 year old American, who has served his country in the US Navy, and also served it by testifying against the war in Vietnam during congressional hearings. I know of no one personally who thinks the war in Iraq was a good idea, although I did at first. I am sorry now that I did not pay more attention to what my leaders were telling me. I might have recognized they were leading us in the wrong direction.

Many Americans *are* compassionate towards others, and looking a little will find you many instances of individual Americans trying to foster peace and help others.

As for starting this war, we did, and it *was* and is a bad idea.

I think you would find many Americans, probably most, who would agree with you, GOD BLESS HUMANITY.

We are not all good or bad.

Europe is where many of our ancestors came from. We love good Europeans, and believe most Europeans are good people.

We are such a big and powerful country, that when we make a mistake (horrible understatement) it tends to do much more damage than we can imagine it will.
