Why are nascar fans so pro-Iraq war but wont serve in Iraq?

Not everyone can be a hero - someone has to sit on the curb and clap as they go by.

As a veteran of the war in Iraq, I don't feel the need to call out all of my supporters to serve as well. I feel it is a very illogical attack on the supporters we have and is unfounded.
Thats like asking the cheerleaders to tackle a 280lbs fullback becasue they support the team - or any of the fans for that matter. Makes no sense.
If your so against the US military in Iraq, why not hop a flight over and fight against it....see makes no sense.
