And don't even get me started about religious hatred.

there has been no war between Canada and the USA for centuries and the border between us is mostly unguarded. Peace between neighbours is possible when each respects the other and neither is greedy for the other persons' stuff.

peace is possible, but not until everyone is as wealthy (relatively) as Canada and the US.

Our job is to try to keep what we have while still allowing others to gain more to the point that freedom and peace are worth more than warfare and terror.

War is about money money and money. Sometimes, its land, jobs, or other resources, but call what you will it is all about money.

religion is only an excuse to get others to fight and die for the old guys who control the purse strings. politicas is trying to convince people to get with the money guys on your side.

There is money in big business, in labor unions, in crime and in running a large charity. Religion is one of the biggest rackets ever invented.

Follow the greed, and you will find the roots of war everywhere and everytime in history.

If everyone had enough money, there would be a shortage of people willing to kill others for any reaason.

That does not mean there should be no wealth, just that there should be enough for people to have self respect and pride.

Then the greedy old guys that run every country would lose their power. and war would be gone.

This is sadly likely never to happen, but I hope I am wrong.
