It's called needle in a haystack. Have you seen the mountain ranges between Afghanistan and Pakistan and the other surrounding countries? I have. And it is literally a needle in about a few hundred hay stacks. |

Please take my word for it. We know where he is, it is just getting to him that causes problems. He is in a remote region of Pakistan ( a country we cannot take troops into), a region that the Pakistani military rarely goes into. In addition, this is about the most rugged terrain in the world......15-18,000 feet of elevation with thousands of valleys, ridgelines, caves, etc. He is very well protected and uses couriers to do most of his work, therefore adding layers of protection that are hard to penetrate even with the best HUMINT assets because of language barriers, suspicion of any foreigner, etc.
He is alive and still working hard to inspire and ingnite and global Islamic insurgency....
Bush didn't disband any unit looking for him....God, some people will believe anything |

Gosh some of you people don't really think. Do you know how hard it would be to find one person who is trying to hide in a place like the mountains of Pakistan or anywhere near that vacinity? They're not going to be dumb about it. They're not going to advertise where they are.
Those who think we're not looking for him are on the verge of insanity. Believe me that there are a LOT of 'special' people on the case who spend a LOT of time collecting human and technical intelligence. Kepp thinking that while those who work for YOUR safety and security keep putting their lives on the line. You're an insult to their sacrifice idiots. |

They found him before
I understand they were told to leave him alone
The Bigwig from Saudi Arabia was in the neighborhood |

We don't want to find him. He is the ultimate boogyman, and gives us a ready reason to go blow the crap out of the rest of the world. |

If you remember Bush said " I'm not worried about him" The reason is because we aren't really looking for him. Bush is not worried about Bin. |

The first reason is that every time we got close to finding him, some "smart" journalist had to beat the crowd to telling the world, including OBL, just what we were doing to get close. In turn, he quit doing those things.
Secondly, when we have been close to knowing, it has been in very rugged terrain. Consider that it takes all day to travel 20 miles there, IN TRUCKS. In a vast majority of that part of the world, even if you saw without doubt someone you wanted to capture 1/2 mile away, by the time you drove to that location, he could have moved 10 miles across the border.
Thirdly, he is using the porous border between Afghanistan and Pakistan to his ultimate advantage. The Pakis won't less us operate on their side and neither will they operate there.
Fourth, the Pashtuns (tribe that occupies that part of border) hate us, the Paki government and the Afghani government. They cannot comprehend the money offered for him and culturally are bound to give him refuge if he asks for it.
Put all of this together and it would be like the Texas Rangers trying to locate a cuban intelligence agent in Mexico. They aren't allowed to go where they think he might be and he's very knowledgeable on how to avoid detection. |

Because Pakistan will not let us cross the border to hunt for him. |

Because he is in his own neighborhood, and he is smater than the U.S. gives him credit for. |

Because he is dead.
Funny how he suddenly stopped appearing on television when people around him were saying he was in poor health. You cannot hide from God, no matter how good a sinner you are. In the end, only one judgement to be made and that's from your creator.
Rest in Hell, Bin Laden. |

Because we are not looking for him. In July 2006, Bush disbanded the group charged with tracking his movements and locating him. |

He's Bin Forgotten
We cant find him because he is not in Iraq, (especially not in the green zone) where most of the man-hours, and money are spent and often disappear
but mostly for some of the the same reasons
they cant get grandparents off the no fly list
the FBI can't get its computers to work
gonzales can't remember anything
and so many children get left behind. |

Because we are not looking for him. Bush's sole objective in the Middle East was to find a way to attack Iraq. Bin laden was a pawn in his chess game to go after Sadaam |
