Why can the US give weapons to Israel , but no one should give weapons to Hezbollah to defend Lebanon?

look people, i am sick of that already, so , i will try to make it short...
1.Israel was arranging this attack since 4 or 5 years.
2.hezb Allah is not a terrorist org, it's a party was found to defend Lebanon and free the south.
3. Israel provoked Hezb Allah to kidnap the soldiers, just to have a reason in front of the world to start the war
4.hezb Allah didn't start bombing civilians, until Israel bombed only Lebanese civilians, it's a reaction and self defense
5.hezb Allah attacks only the military, minimum civilians attacked, thou it can attack and kill a lot of Israeli civilians but they just don't
6.hezb Allah doesn't get weapons because he is enemy of Israel, and America just show injustice when it comes to Muslims and Arabs in hand and Israel in another
7.despite all of that, Israel is having hard times fighting hezb Allah, because hezb Allah have GOD by its side

**** fair and unfair. The world is the way it is. You pick sides, and stick with it. We have been Israel's ally for the last sixty years, and we don't just sell out our friends whenever it is convenient. Israel didn't start this war, Hezbollah did. They are nothing but a terrorist organization, and they deserve everything Israel does to them. Hezbollah ruined Lebanon by starting the war and then hiding behind the civilian population. They actually hope for civilian casualties, just so they can point it out to the media and say, "See? Israel is the bad guy!". Anybody with a brain stem can see through that. Why can't you?

OMG! Hezbollah is a militant group backed by Iran and Syria. They started the entire conflict. A ceasefire was called, and Hezbollah ignored it. You are backing the wrong people. It is horrible that the people of Lebanon are victims, but it's like if a terrorist group moved in next door and your city or state let it happen.

Israel represents the ideal government in the middle east as far as the United States is concerned, and they are our allies and we support them. Hezbollah is a terror organization run by islamic exteremists who want to kill innocent people. But thanks for your anti-american sentiment. A member of hezbollah would love to shoot you in the head. OMG you've GOT to be kidding me! Who started what again? Wasn't it the hezbolah terrorists- who ARE NOT members of Lebanon's armed forces- who went into Israel, killing and kidnapping Israeli soldiers? So it's perfectly acceptable to you that this was done in provocation-- yet, Israel is supposed to sit idly by and watch such actions occur without taking action? Read stewcat's answer and move on. Because Israel was attacked (Hezbollah crossed the border and kidnapped 2 IDF soldiers). Hezbollah was the attacker.

Hezbollah has no right to defend Lebanon, the Lebonese government does. Hezbollah is a terrorist organization that has been responsible for the killing of American troops in Lebanon years ago. They are a terrist group! Thats why we dont give them weapons.

The Lebanese should be defending Lebanon, don't you think? Unless you are saying that Hezbollah is Lebanon, and thus its the Lebanese that are responsible for getting the Israeli soldiers back.
