Why cannot Iraqui vets get qualified help?

I needed help for PTSD. Nearest vacility was Menlo Park Ca. They will not accept you unless you are homeless or ex con or addict. so I was set up to be homeless and drank enough to get in. I was treated for the drink and took me 5 mos to finally get to the PTSD portion and only lasted 18 days because according to them I was hardwired and could not be helped in the alloted time given. Meanwhile I made a shame of myself just to get help. Why will that facility only help excons, drug addicts and homeless? I only met three other Iraqui vets and they all got put out too for ? I have done Operation Noble Eagle, Enduring Freedom and OIF. I am highly decorated but not good enough for a facility built and is recieving so many upgrades for what is supposedly Iraqui vets. They are rehibilitating excons by letting them work in the hospital to help the vets without training? Yet the Iraqui vets are not having their mets needed medically to the point of mistrusting the V.A. Why cant the Iraqui vets get medical off the economy from real doctors and dentists?

Have you gone to a reputable psychologist/psychiatrist? Anything run by the government for free is going to be low quality. Just look at the medical care you get while you're in the Army. They give you some ibuprofen and tell you to drink more water. You have to pay a little extra if you want decent help. I have "PTSD" and went to a local psychiatrist and was treated great. The fact that you started drinking just to get accepted into some questionable treatment center is definitely not healthy. Pick up your phone book and get some real help.
