Why do Americans believe this **** about the best army in the world ?

I am a NATO officer, seen the american army at more battlefields than I care to remember ( I am non combatant, medic, peacekeeper ) they never have any strategy, just throwing in a lot of cannon fodder and hardware, they **** the civilians, shoot at negotiators, get badly beaten and leave us to clear the mess when they have left with the tail between the legs. Why are you guys still keeping this ignorant, braindead generals, instead of showing them the exit ? Why do you believe that **** that they would have won, if not that ........ and ...... ? That they actually did win, but only had a tactical retreat ( korea, tactically retreated for 50 years, but coming back ofcourse ) ( shall we just say nothing about Nam ? ) Lately there was a top brass claiming that the third world war with the muslims was inevitable ! Sure, in the states, not in our backyard, they can not even hold their lines in Afghanistan and Iraq. Do this idiots know that Europe and Pakistan have nukes ? EurPak alliance ?

I don't know whether the U.S. has the best Army in the world. What I do know is there is no Army from any sophisticated Western nation that knows how to fight in an urban/guerrilla enviornment.

The point is that your a non combatant. If this is true, then how do you know anything about strategy or cannon fodder? You shouldn't draw conclusions while sitting in the rear. Why don't you show some backbone and give a little evidence to prove what your trying to say. You just end up looking stupid.

Where the hell our you from? Chances are we saved your ungreatfull coutry more than once so why dont you just saythank you and go about your buissnes. We do have the worlds strongest army its been proven time and time again. We may have made some mistakes but we have learned from them and thats made us even stronger. Dude I have trained with almost all NATO troops and the only ones worht a damn were the British. The rest were miserable bunch of losers and God knows why they were issued rifles (non-toy) and ammunition.

NATO was/is a gigantic joke. Let's see we have a fifty to one kill ratio in Iraq versus the insurgents. Yes we are cannon fodder.

Everyone knows that Britain has the best army(military)in the world and the British are trained to fight in any part of the world and can even fight better than the Americans at Gorilla warfare.

I know what you mean, and I don't believe it. I know that our military is weak, and it has been since World War II. We don't have good strategies because we don't have good strategists. We have no Washingtons, Grants, Pattons, or Eisenhowers. It's a shame.

the purpose of these wars is to make billionaires out of people who benefit from increased government spending on military. Communism was used to scare americans to support expensive wars. Now a new "ism" terrorism is used to frighten people into supporting another expensive military conflict.
