Why do I feel so strongly about 9/11?

I didn't lose any family or friends in 9/11. I love this country with all my heart and want to be a U.S Marine. just thinking about 9/11 sometimes makes me cry. I get really defensive when people talk about it.

I did not know anyone personally that died in 9/11 but I feel I did. Just the thought that certain people hate America so much they would do such an act makes me very, very sad. We can not let the terrorist think they won. We [America] didn't just cry, we fought back and that surprised them. |

thats a good thing...you have american pride. sometimes i think not enough people feel strongly enough about the stuation...i mean some terrorists flew planes into our buildings with our innocent people inside. too many people wanna forgive the people who were responsible. i say hell no. blow that sand box up GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!! |

You may get defensive about it because you feel somehow ashamed that such a thing could happen in your beautiful country, but not to worry, because the whole world feels the same way about it, and just hope some time in the future there will be a 'public inquiry' and get it all cleared up once and for all. |

Even though you didn't loose anyone, 9/11 and other tragic events in our world can be very touchy for some people. Maybe iy was close to you in like a past-life if you believe in that. My mom said that somebody died and she was crying, like she knew him like a brother. She is kinda sensitive with that but she never cried except that time. I hope that helped i can't think of anything else! ;) |

it sounds like you really need to relieve some hatred with mass slaughter against people that wear towels on their head. The Marines will probably be stoked on that.
Seriously though, being a Marine would be awesome, or the military in general. But you should do it for more than revenge. |
