Why do old people and fat people debate about war while skinny people that are my age are dying?

Wars are mostly started by old, rich people and fought mostly by young, poor people. Do you think Bush, Cheney, Rumsfield would be so cavalier about going to war if there was even a remote chance that they could be injured in it?

Excuse me?? I had 34 years in the military in one form or another, and even with that, I tried to volunteer to go back in after 9/11. They said I was too old and too disabled. So why don't YOU get up off your azz and do something rather than trying to find someone to blame for your problems? Hmmm?

fat people debate about war because they often sit in chairs planning strategies and seldom work out. some old people in power use their wisdom to influence war as part of an agendas.

skinny people are the ones doing the work, running from here and there, constantly moving too much and not relaxing enough. so they die from exhaustion

skinny people are debating the war too. It isn't about the size or age of people debating the issue. There is no point in being in Iraq. Bush doesnt care because he probably thinks of the us military as servants because he has lived a super privileged life.

wow, i know there is a weight limit to enter the military.....but you didnt have to hate on overweight people in your question haha. But overall i like the way you see it. They sit and watch as people my age ( 19 ) and around my age go overseas and fight/die for our country. All the while sitting at home either arguing with each other or badmouthing the troops ( like it's their fault they are overseas in the first placer ). im not for the war per say, but i support the troops wether they are fighting or at home.

Many of the "old" and "fat" people as you call them have already served their time in the service somewhere along the way. I would say they have every right to discuss war as does any tax paying U.S. citizen or anyone else really for that matter. Just because they may not be serving at present doesn't mean they don't have ideas,opinions or knowledge as to what is going on or may be even what is best. And for your info there are fat people serving presently. They need to get off their chairs and do their pt and quit eating twinkies because we are relying on them to do their military job properly and efficiently to protect our country. So my question is why are there so many overweight people in the service?

If not, what are you talking about?! No one has forced anyone to serve this country.

The men and women who do serve do so out of their belief that the ideals of the United States of America are worthwhile. If you don't think this country is worth fighting for, fine, sit back while they do the work for you.

Or, if you like, move to Canada! You'll be out of our hair, and you can live your fairy tale existence under our protection, while you deny it.

Once there is a draft and their kids have to go to war, they will take it more seriously. If must be very annoying. I am against the war in Iraq, but I am still appreciative of everyone who is serving. If you are, thank you for serving our country.
