War these days are not only on the tactical, operational, and strategic levels, but also on the physical, psychological, and moral levels as well. Obviously the strategic and moral levels are the most important levels in war.

People throw rocks at tanks in other countries because it is a form of protest and resistance. The main strategy behind it is that when the media begins taping it, the rest of the world see the statement. And if the tanks fire upon them, it would create an outcry amongst the people in the world who are watching those images being beamed in. In essence, it creates a David versus Goliath illusion and helps the rock-throwers the moral high ground. Think of it this way: Would you defend a defenseless kid from a bully or help a bully beat up a defenseless kid? That's the moral aspect that is integrated in their strategy to win (without fighting). As Sun Tzu says, "Winning a thousand battles is not the acme of skill; to subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill."

Thats as far as their technology goes. Thats what happens when inbreeding takes place. Luckily for them, those tankers have enough brains in their heads to resist the urge to open up on them with the .50 cal machine gun. That would stop the rock throwing PDQ.

Besides the fact that they are hoping that by chance they will hit someone.My fiance is their and is a tanker and says they don't totally understand the make up of their vehicles [the children]the rest who knows,but just a thought wouldn't it be funny if one bounced off and hit them[not the children of course]

in the middle east, little muslim kids are taught to throw rocks as hard as they can, so that someday, they can face a tank as a ten year old and hurl a stone at it. they hate americans because we stand by israel, who they hate the most. they're just showing us how much they hate us i guess, but i don't know for sure. but i do know that the parents and leaders are very proud of their kids for throwing stones at tanks and soldiers.

Its just a way of protest. Why do people march in huge gangs on the roads to protest? Its just a way of showing dissatisfatcion though its a bad way.

U need to wake up!! If tanks were rolling down your streets you wouldnt see it that way. Comeone use common sense.. How could anyone make fun of a child doing this? That child has more courage than anyone that hasnt admitted that our country is hijacked my terrorists. You vote for them, but its a show, all polical parties are controlled by money; therefore... do the rest yourself.. Congrats ur one of the last to know, most people have figured this out by now
