i don't agree that we should be there, but i appreciate their efforts very much. our soldiers are fighting out there, doing something that I could never in my life ever do. i pray for them constantly. i will never support the war, but I support our soldiers. thank God for our soldiers. |

Because even if ten people out of a million are doing something, it's not accurate to say the million are.
Out of the several hundred thousands troops stationed around the world, are someone of them intentionally killing innocent civilians? Sure. And those that do get punished, just like anyone else who violates the law. Do some of them accidentally kill civilians? Sure. War is tragic, and civilian casualties are inevitable.
But just because a few such incidents may occur, intentionally or accidentally, it's not accurate to say "our soldiers" are killing civilians. Any more than it's accurate to say "Christians are raping women" just because a few rapists happen to be Christian. Or "Muslims are bombing our cities" just because a few terrorists claim to be Muslim.
It's not rational to blame hundreds of thousands (or millions) of people based on the actions of a very very tiny few. |

We all know that this is just what the Bible tells of happening, we can expect these things although they are not the will of GOD, he has allowed this time to pass in order that we repent and turn to him for we cannot direct our own steps... It is evident in what has gotten increasingly worse over the years.. Why does every one blame GOD? It is Satan that is at the center of the worlds problems and dividing us is a strong tool.. I am not a fan of war but the soldiers are over there to do a job they were told to carry out. There are those who commit war crimes and they should be punished for that. But the men and women who are following the rules, doing what they were sent there to do....well I feel that's admirable. My father was a Marine stationed in Danang during the vietanm war. I am very proud of him for his service to our country. He is my hero. Take care and I hope you have an amazing evening! Oh....and don't forget to enjoy that freedom you have courtesy of our soldiers.

Some day when you're mature enough you will understand concepts like collateral damage and acceptable loss as it relates to the world scale. Until then I'd suggest that you stop watching FOX and CNN and start paying more attention to the associated press. This way you'll start getting a more factual view of the world around you. |

Who knows. Who even knows what they're still fighting for. It was Osama Bin Laden and his entourage that attacked America not the children, men and women who are being killed everyday. Whats the point of fighting in a "war" when the people you're harming aren't even trying to fight back? Ugh It just bothers me SO much that no one is getting this oh -so -obvious fact! You should read some history before you ask that question. People who look innocent always aren't. In every war tactics are used to lull soldiers into feeling that things are calm, and that there is nothing to be afraid of. In vietnam the VC used women and children as combatants. This has happened through out time. Soldiers are on edge, ready to act at any feeling of a threat. Until the evidence is brought to light you should not make accusations that you have no proof of. The way I see it Iraq is not a threat to the people in this country, but to the Americans over in Iraq, every person is a threat. If you did not see these acts firsthand, you should probably calm down and climb off your high horse, and at least pretend like you give a crap about the guys that are over there. |

How can one be sure the so called innocent civilians you refer to are innocent?? The bible bashed idiotic Muslim/Islamic extremists made the mistake of having women and children strap bombs to their chests and blow themselves up around our soldiers and amongst other innocent civilians. That makes it extremely hard to trust anyone any more. (even women and children) It becomes every man for himself just in the battle to stay alive.
The extremists, women and children responsible for this are not martyrs for doing so, they are nothing but pawns and fools for not having the brain to think for themselves and having no morals to know right from wrong. They are so stupid they even kill their own kind in the hope of taking out others. They have no respect for anyone including themselves to think they have the right to take a human life and yet they say they are holy and believe in God. If God created us, what a ***** slap that is for him because in every religion it states killing as a sin.
If the civilians play unfair then they will be unfairly treated, on occasion resulting in death. I have no sympathy for any of you. If you are supposedly an innocent civilian (then if you want the war stopped) get off your @ss and stand up for yourselves against the extremists or watch the few innocent civilians amongst the population of your country of nutters die along side with the extremists.
War is war. Soldiers join the Military, Army, Navy and are paid because it is their occupation (which is controlled by the Government). They are paid to serve, protect and if need be kill. If they dont do their job they can be imprisoned. We have as much on our side as you have death on yours. You are very one sided, narrow minded like an ostrich with its head in the sand.
The 9/11 occurence was because of Muslim/Islamic fcukwitts (Al Qaedda) which killed hundreds if not thousands of innocent Americans including the other nationalities that also worked in the twin tower buildings such as Australian, Chinese, Indian, Hispanic civilians. Do you worry about that injustice of innocent civilians?
The Bali bombing killed hundreds of Balinese and Australians! Do you worry about that injustice of innocent civilians? I suggest you get your head out of your @ss and start doing a little exploring as to why foreign soldiers are in Iraq in the first place. You only see what you want to see. You only hear what you want to hear. Dont be a sheep! Ask questions and learn something before you point fingers.
I personally think its a complete waste of our soldiers lives being killed in the line of duty because they are there trying to serve, protect, restore peace, freedom and human rights to the Iraqis savages and barbarians that reside there.
