Do the right thing, whatever it takes. Line up our tanks, our helicopter gunships, and as many members of the armed forces as it takes. Make it an ongoing "field exercise," a training exercise. It cuts costs, not increases, if done right. Plus, it might prove if they Pentagon can win anything.
If they cannot handle the GD Mexican border, they have no business in the Mideast. About 12 months in that Mexican desert and everybody will damn sure trim down and get in shape. If they cannot handle this assignment without extra funding and all the excuses, it will prove once and for all whether or not the can hack.

If you remember there was funding for a border fence passed by congress. The reason they do not build it and have not released funding for it is to buy votes for themselves.
It is looked at as detrimental to getting votes from Mexican Americans and to people in this country illegally that vote anyway (as a closed border with legal entry only ) would decrease popularity of anyone who said controlled borders were necessary for a Sovereign nation to have for their own existence. |

The Border Patrol doesn't have the financial backing to "do it right" and will get even less in the future (thank you democrats).
You are also confusing the U.S military with the Border Patrol... the U.S. military isn't involved in security the borders of the U.S. |
