Why dont they try to convert the Iraqis and Afg people into Christians?

Firstly am i right to think that the two main religions of the day Christianity and Islam will be locked into an eternal never ending Jyhad between each other uuntil the day of reckoning?

(A bit like the Highlander movie with Christopher Lambert, battling through the ages)

Is the current wars a continuation of the Crusades between Christians and Muslims and just dressed up in modern terms like "War on Terror"?- E.g Chechnya, Bosnia, Kosovo, Nigeria, Sudan, Lebanon, and now in Iraq and Afghnanistan.

I mean if all these people were christians they would be no problem right?

So why doesnt the US and UK and all the Christian nations increase their missionary works in Iraq and Afg and try to get them onto our sides?

I mean in Africa once in the Islamic sphere of influence has a growing Christian population so why not try it in the heart of the Middle East?

Try to give them food and water along with a bible maybe?

It wouldn't make the Muslim extremists hate us more, -that isn't possible. What it WOULD do, and DOES do, is make the Muslim moderates and fence sitters hate us for the arrogance of attempting to force our beliefs on them. For centuries the "Christians" have been telling a majority (by far) of the world's population that they are going to hell for not believing what the Christians believe. Just how. exactly, does that differ from what the extremists are saying to the west about THEIR religion?

Several years ago I told three door-to-door religion salespeople they were welcome to try and convert my family to their religion but first they would have to explain to my 6 year old daughter, in plain language, where they believed and preached my daughter's grand ma was going when she died. They eagerly agreed until I showed them my daughter and explained to them that her grand ma was buddhist! They did an abrupt about face, said a very polite good night and never bothered us at dinner time again!

If you recall in 2007, a bunch of South Korean missionaries got kidnapped in Afghanistan and a few even managed to get themselves killed.

This is not a good idea of yours.

Why don't you convert to muslim????? Probably the same reason they don't want to convert to your religion!!!!

Have you ever actually studied religion? I dare say not, because if you had, you would see exactly how close Christianity, Islam and Judaism truly is. However, some many are so blind as to say their religious dogma has the "answer". The belief in God by the world's religions is like 20 blind men trying to describe an elephant by touching it with their hands. They will give dfferent descriptions, depending on what part they are touching, but it is of the same elephant. Instead of thinking about "converting" people, why don't you try and understand what they believe. It might surprise you.

im sure there are plenty of missionarys already doing these things, its dangerous, they dont get paid to do it, therefore there arnt a huge amount of people lineing up to do it, just a few people with a huge heart and doing Gods work.

If you think its an area that needs more people then get into a church and go do it, theres to many people saying what needs to be done and not enough people doing.

the crusades were ot between the christians and the
muslim, but were made by christians trying to bring christianity
to the muslim world, or better to the orient.

what we have seen for some years now is the pendulum swinging
back. hadn't the christians in history and of modern times
explited, subjugated and invaded the orient, there would be no
fundamentalism, the islam, pure islam, is pacifist.

we have to clean before our own doors and stop pretending that
we want to bring democracy and freedom to these countries,
instead of openly admitting that we are at fault and retreat and
ask for forgiveness for invading them.

Bec they are stuck believing in their fake *** moon god "ALLAH".
