Why dont we just put troops on the mexican border and shoot on sight?

Well, because that would make us murderers, that's why!! You really don't think that shooting (MURDERING) a person for jumping a fence, or crossing a river is going to stop illegal immigration, and save the U.S. money, for the needy, U.S. citizens. Do you have any idea about what's going on in other parts of this world? When was the last time a Mexican crossed the border with 20 pounds of explosives straped to his torsol and blew himself up, along with dozens of innocent Americans, or a group of Mexican terrorist committing mass murdrer on Americans, on American soil? Everyday an American soldier dies protecting our boarders, and every American citizen inside the boarder. You'er looking at the wrong boarder!

I wonder that as well.I mean do you know the punishment for illegal immigration in Mexico!?!Actually North Korea does it as well as China.Even India which is also a Democracy.The U.S is a little too soft though when it comes to situations like this and are driven into sympathy when Mexican parents show their kids.Hey what about Somalia or those African countries?They all wait as refugees.Illegal Immigration is invasion.Since they are unwantedly here it is invasion.Yes the troops should be there to protect the U.S.maybe not kill them because they are in Mexican soil when they are shot and that is invasion by the U.S sort of.Maybe stunning would work though.

To be rational. Because of the Posse Comititus Act the military cannot be used as a law enforcement body. Since anything to do with immigration is federal law, the enforcement is designated to a government body (Department of Homeland Security Customs and Immigration service) that has been given law enforcement power.

I say if they get caught we give them a choice. Join the military and go fight for this county they want to live in or be sent back to Mexico. If they join the military then they will be willing to put their lives on the line for the country and should be given the chance of becoming citizens once they serve.

So let's just stick some recruiters on the boarder. Heck you should see how many college students avoid the caf when there are some stand outside there.

I am totally for indiscriminate killing but to be real the only justification to shoot someone coming over would be their intent to cause harm or of course terrorists. I do despise illegal immigrants impacting our economy the way they do but shooting is kindof overkill.

while your at it why not just put a minefield down and some razor wire. we need to just build a wall and about Every 20 feet put a guard up there along with size mic detector to find underground tunnels

defending our borders from those who will not adopt our policies and adapt to our culture is more like defending our economy and identity as a country who will accept all who will accept our way of doing things right. Many hispanics have come here through immigrations and have paid taxes and stolen nobody's i.d. most have done nothing right for america despite which jobs they have taken. Not paying taxes makes me a criminal, it makes them too.

Although it's not really within today's New World Order way of doing things, it's not actually a bad idea to defend our borders with deadly force. It's been done for centuries, and for basically the same reasons. As a country we are like the modern Rome- and we are falling for the same reasons: Illegal immigration, loss of morals, and too many attorneys. Seriously. The Minutemen and thousands of others are willing to use their own guns and bullets on their own time to kill the scum oozing across the border. It would only take 24 hours for the word to spread and the problem would be solved at zero cost to our government. Only a few scumbags and drug dealers would be killed in the initial shoot; a very small and indeed welcome price to pay.
