Because he had to face reality after he was sworn in, as opposed to speaking out of ignorance while campaigning. |

Because he stated all along that he would have a safe, gradual draw down of troops....and he is delivering on that promise: http://politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/rulings/promise-kept/ |

A time table for removal has been set.* |

You can't pull 150,000 troops, around 100,000 civilian contractors, and thousands of tons of equipment out of Iraq while disassembling or converting over 100 US bases so they can't be used against us later in only 90 days. The timetable done by former President Bush is still a go right now and almost all troops will be out by 2012. |

IDK, why do you think he has not? Didn't he promise the country that he would remove the troops from Iraq but now I think his timetable has changed a tad after listening to his ground commanders in Iraq. |

Because it takes longer than 3 months to move 150,000 troops. American combat troops are supposed to be out of the cities by June and out of the country by 2011. |

why are you asking this? What made you think they would be gone this fast? I know it wasn't Obama himself because he was real clear about a sane orderly exit. It couldn't have been Bush, he didn't want to leave at all and only signed the pullout agreement so we weren't thrown out on his watch. Where did you get this idea? Who told you this, Who? |
