Why is america fighting with iraq??

The US isn't fighting with iraq.

What gave you that idea?

We are in iraq, helping the Iraqi government, fight against terrorist and iraqi insurgents, trying to topple the new iraqi government.

We are not fighting with Iraq, we are fighting terrorism in Iraq. We should do whatever it takes to keep our nation safe, and that unfortunately includes war. War is inevitable when evil people like terrorists exist in this world.

America is fighting rogue "insurgents" and radicals within Iraq.... Not Iraq.

Read some history, you will find out why we are in Iraq. Don't let people like, "mr movie" snow you with simplistic agendas. Our congress voted to go to war, as did our president, based on intelligence reports of WMD ... not oil. If it was only about oil, do you think congress would have so overwhelmingly voted with the president?

Why are we fighting...you have to be kidding me. Let start off by removing Saddam from power...creating a free standing government, ensure a better life for the Iraqi population. Bin Laden that is a whole other war going on in a different country...we will win both these wars and I believe in and support our leadership and that is what makes me a proud American

We are actually trying to help rebuild Iraq but here are people who dont want us there who fight us and now its not over the oil we are paying for the oil!

Ask Iraqi leaders why they flew 2 planes into the World Trade Center, one into the Pentagon and one into the ground on 9/11. Many very innocent people died that day, a lot of them from other countries.
To many of the Iraqi all Americans are Infidels and should die. If the Iraqi gives his life while murdering an Infidel he will be blessed and be assured that he will go to their version of Heaven.
Most of the news media is very liberal and publish only information that shows the US and the military in a bad light. Try reading some of the stories from the GIs who are over there or who have come home. A lot of people there die from suicide bombers who kill women and children while they also kill American soldiers. They aren't particular who is around when the bomb goes off.
They have found many mass graves in Iraq where the people have done nothing but disagree with those in power. Be thankful that you live in a country that gives you the right and privilege of asking your question. I am.

Explain to me how we or Bush profitted from Iraq oil (BTW We do not buy Iraqi oil.....we actually get more oil from Canada than the ENTIRE Middle East)

If you think about it.....Bush LOST oil money in this war.....the Iraqi oil fields were in such bad repair.....so antiquated they would have ceased production long ago if we had not rebuilt the system.....If the Iraqi oil fields had shut down the price of oil would have gone even high than it is now......(supply and demand)

yep! its all about OIL. It started out as Operation Iraqi Liberation, but someone pointed out to Darth Cheney what THAT acronym spelled so they quickly changed it to Op Iraqi Freedom.
If you don't think all those G.I.'s and Iraqi "collateral damage" were sacrificed for the black gold then you have your head so far up "W"'s ****** that you don't even realize you're voting against your own self interest!!!

NOTE: Sadam did not personally fly the planes into the WTC!!! Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.....
