Why is it that Much of the US does not like Obama Military wise?

Actually, I like most of Obama. He's smart and thoughtful in decision making. I don't think he would "go to war with the Army you have" (that statement still pisses me off).

I agree with his decision to move troops from Iraq to Afghanistan. We've done all the good we can do in Iraq....let's go get Osama.

Its nice to build schools and hospitals but I know from experience (Haiti 1996) that once you turn them over to the local populace they may or may not use them in the intended way. Quite frankly, I think its a misuse of the military's resources. Let the Red Cross or a humanitarian group go in and do that.

Hmmm...I don't bad mouth the Commander-in-Chief, even if he may, or may not, be a great President; it is actually chargeable by the UCMJ to even say anything derogatory towards the Commander-in-Chief when any American is serving in the Armed Forces.

just because some people dislike obama, doesnt mean they're uneducated or racist. it means they take the time to study things and make their own EDUCATED decisions

edit - we entered iraq to take out a dictator Suddam Hussein which we did. we are now trying to stablize the country, which we are. there are casualities and alot of them. but thats what happens with war.

there will always be people who disagree, there will always be people with different opinions, and i respect that. but you dont see the good that we're doing over there on tv. violence sells thats what youll see on tv. why do you think the more violent the video game the more it sells?

Um let me start with how almost 90% of the people I meet in the military are Conservative. His pullout of Iraq policy is unrealistic. He said that we go air raid villages and kill women and children. He is shutting down GITMO even though the Dept of Defense is telling him not to. He is refusing to call it a war and terrorist "enemy combatants". He has never served a day in his life and thinks he is a great military tactician. He didn't wear a flag on his lapel for years. Reverend Wright. He does not salute the flag. He is cutting most of our funding. He refuses to accept that the surge has worked. I could go on for hours. I respect the position but not the man. Just go on Youtube and watch Dear Mr Obama and you'll get a basic idea why

This would be china Lets also say you have two competing companies, furniture for example, one produces and ships a chair for $30, the china chair produces and ships one for $10, the tariff equalizes prices between the two by adding (in some cases) a $20 fee to the chinese chair, effectively making the competition between the two even, basing it on either marketing, or quality. Get rid of the tariff and people will obviously buy the $10 chair, meaning the vendor in america either has to outsource to compete, or go out of business, effectively eliminating american manufacturing companies. This exact scenario is talked about within the second week of an INTRODUCTORY business class. This in turn means you have absolutely no business knowledge as a tariff is actually one of the best ways for a country to make money on imports. Now back to the topic at hand. Like with all presidents I agree with a number of his decisions, I also disagree with a number of his decisions; however, he was voted in as president so I will accept his decisions, as I cannot see things from his point of view I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, seeing as things that I have researched he has made similar decisions as to what I would have made.
