This goes back to 9/11, basically the US was invaded and that operation was masterminded and funded by Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qadea. The Taliban who were running Afghanistan at the time were cited by the US to hand over Bin Laden. They wouldn't so America and their allies invaded on Oct 07. How is Britain involved, In 1949 NATO was formed and they stated that "any attack on a member nation would be interpreted as an attack on themselves". The UK and the US are both members. So yes the bog-standard afghan would be upset at Bush, but, they probably don't know the facts. Why are we still there, The government of Afghanistan invited us to help with the security,reconstruction and good governance.

The Drug excuse doesn't work!
It was illegal to grow poppy's in Afghanistan while the Taliban were in power!
Only after the US invaded did the poppy fields start up again!
